JS Prom II

The second and my last JS prom finally came..! The last music: UMBRELLA!!!(haha)

Yes… This is my last JS prom in my entire life. It is not my last dance because there will be still the seniors’ ball… To tell you about the prom last Feb. 15, 2007, it was a very enjoyable one. Although the last music was not that appropriate with the event, most of it was an enjoyable session to each of us. It was probably the last complete MAXCONIAN’s picture taking after the event was done. So many pictures… Here, there, EVERYWHERE!!! I just love this batch!!!

Now, about my dances… The picture beside this paragraph was my first dance… It’s Ms. Ruth-Ann Arellano. In addition, she’s my last dance also… :-)

This picture wasn’t a dance… Jamaica and I didn’t dance!!! Grrr!! Honestly speaking, this second JS was not enough! I was so contented last year but now, I don’t know…

Oh well… Even though last year’s prom was better, I gained many memories like these (look at the pictures). It was all about Maxwell- Marconi. All I can say to these two sections is that; we are what we are!!! And we are the most “pasaway” batch ever!!! Yet, the most exciting and enjoyable batch I’ve ever belonged! Through these memories we gained… I think I am not ready yet to graduate… :-(

But that’s how the life of a student is… (sigh)

Challenges overcome every season of computer education. “The WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER!” Exploring every single edge of this is the most exciting challenge this grading period.

I didn’t know much on this topic and that is my whole problem!!!

Addressing these??? Just exploring this topic is the whole choice to address this kind of challenge.

Moving on, I expect more exciting challenges with this subject could help me in the future…

A POST!!! (Project’s Outrageous Soothing Trademark) :)

Graduation is fast approaching!!! But, we cannot go to that event without reaching some discoveries in TLE…

The past lesson was an exciting one. In fact, I enjoyed every period that I spent in the computer room. We made our own webpage, designed it, put some pictures init, links, etc… the most important thing that I have learned in doing this activity is on how to compress all the ten activities with regards to html tags into just one page using the notepad. That was just so challenging that would slightly break your head because of the wrong tags you want to put…

Of course there was a problem when these pieces of learning came. These wouldn’t be as challenging as it was, without encountering a problem. First, I didn’t know what should be the correct tag to be used. Second, how to place a link or a picture properly, and lastly, managing our allotted time in doing our activity.

With the help of my notes, friends and of course Ma’am Vera Cruz, me and my partners in the same workstation consumed just the right time for us. Even though we know that we are not the best one, still, we believed that our webpage is the best!wahaha!!

Moving on, I will expect more and more adventures in this subject together with our “kengkoy” teacher.(haha!)

Am I getting "older???"

As I crunch the very exciting challenge that html tags gave to me, it had given me a lot of learnings that will be with me in any era...

We really dug a lot with regards to this topic and even reached activity 9 which was all about backgrounds. First activity was on the basic ones of course then up to putting some backgrounds with our works. It was really a good experience being with this topic that it even made our TLE subject more interesting and frankly speaking, we've learned a lot during this second grading period. And know what??? I've discovered that we could even use this in the future... "For what?" you ask??? Through the 9 activities that we've done, it was like being a "professional" with a certain course that will make you an aware, better, and successful person...

In every chapter of our life, problems are always there... Same is through also in doing the 9 activities... Imagine??? 9 activities???? It's very impossible if one of us didn't commit a mistake... Now to start with this, first thing is my awareness with this topic. At firs I felt much ignorance but thank God I was able to do it... Well anyway, despite of this problem, I have also encountered what is the right tag to be used... I can't sometimes decide whether I will combine font attributes and with the other tags like the headers... These was even my problem when we took our long test... I was so disappointed with my score...

To connect this with my problems, I made a lot of adjustments... I listened well when ma'am was discussing and correcting our mistakes and thank God I have understood it fully... Also, with the help of my beloved friends, it was easier for me to cope up...

Moving on I will...I will...I will....I will definitely make more blog posts like this... Well to generalize this situation of mine, I will surely make some changes with myself starting this 3rd grading period... And I just hope that no "malice" will be done with regards to our rankings...hehe

A new chapter, a new period, and a new beginning carry new learning... With respect to computer education, blogs were such a great topic and now, the tags. HTML tags, typing these, and viewing it in the internet. It's not MS Word today, it's WordPad! The way you'll type these is like open angle bracket(<) then html then close angle bracket(>)... Isn't that amazing?

Problems? With regards to the test, I had a little difficulty on enumeration and acronyms. But my score wasn't bad at all, 84! Also, we had some trouble coping up with some of our lesson because of the National Leadership Training in Baguio. That's just okay... At least, we have done the activities already.

Addressing these? I just tried my best and tried to recall some of the topics… With the steps of the activities with us, it was easier to cope up. We typed immediately and made the written ones.

For the next school days, I just hope more exciting activities will be done by us, IV-Maxwell and my grade will be higher. (Just kidding)

Last last week was...OHHEY!!?

***In the past two weeks, I have learned a lot of learnings and discoveries. These include the steps or procedure on how to create a blog, how to explore the so-called "blog", how to upload pictures, and post blogs. Also, last last week was so exciting. We participated in the Food Festival and luckily, with all our sweat and hardships, IV-Maxwell was the first on the said contest.

***I didn't have much problems with regards to blog except posting pictures and uploading, and basically, on how to create a blog... In the last Food Fest, cooking lumpianada and managing our "business" was the only problem.

***How did I addressed these challenges??? With the help of our teacher, Ma'am Vera cruz, she taught us on how to create a blog, etc... In the Food Fest,on the other hand, cooperation was the only key...

***Moving on, I will expect more challenges and learnings to come, with regards to this subject. Even if it will be difficult, that would just be okay for me, OHHEY??

1) What are the new learnings or discoveries that I have learned?

-The first thing that i have encountered in TLE IV is the expression of Mrs. Vera Cruz; "sosyal latta." That's one thing that had caught my attention to this subject...

At the very start of our class, especially in "hands-on," I've learned very important things about internet. One is on how to be specific in searching through the net. Just like putting quotation marks and conjunctions ("or" and "and"), or by the word itself... I almost forgot... The very first thing that I've learned is the history of the internet, of course, including the traffic, inventors or contributors, etc... I've also discovered the data tools or data types.. But, in general, I've learned a lot at the first part of this subject.

2) What are the problems or challenges that I've encountered?

-One problem that I've encountered is on how to arrive at the exact search term. I've encountered lot of searches but most of the term did not match on what I'm finding. Through this, this served also as a challenge to me. I should be able to master on how to arrive at the exact search terms...

3) How did I address these challenges?

-I passed these challenges by trying to understand or remember the thing said by Mrs. Vera Cruz regarding to this lesson. And also, with the help of my classmates...

4) Moving on, I will...

...I will expect more discoveries and learnings on this subject and I just hope I can cope up through these exciting challenges. I'll just do my best and try to focus more for the future...
